Design<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"1125\">The construction is clever and enjoyable to knit. You start by working the front and back yokes separately, from the top down. data-end=\"1994\">a bit more than one skein<\/strong> of yarn.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2018\" data-end=\"2154\">When closing the bottom hem, be sure to <strong data-start=\"2078\" data-end=\"2115\">pay special attention<\/strong> so the stitches stay aligned.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2199\"><strong data-start=\"2160\" data-end=\"2197\">A Small Change to the Drawstring<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2200\" data-end=\"2379\">The original pattern includes a particular method for making the drawstring, but I opted for a <strong data-start=\"2307\" data-end=\"2330\">4-stitch I-cord<\/strong> instead. A simple and quick method, with a neat finish. <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2412\"><strong data-start=\"2385\" data-end=\"2410\">The Knitting Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2413\" data-end=\"2754\">This project is <strong data-start=\"2427\" data-end=\"2481\">suitable for intermediate knitters<\/strong>. The steps are straightforward, and since the main stitch is stockinette, the knitting moves along quickly.<br data-start=\"2586\" data-end=\"2589\">The only part that requires extra focus is the separation and joining of the yokes, but once that\u2019s done, it becomes a relaxing knit. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2756\" data-end=\"2937\">For my size, it took me <strong data-start=\"2789\" data-end=\"2825\">about 15 hours<\/strong> spread over a few quiet evenings \u2014 relatively quick for a full garment. <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2939\" data-end=\"2960\"><strong data-start=\"2943\" data-end=\"2958\">The Result<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2961\" data-end=\"3278\">I\u2019m absolutely thrilled with the final piece.
