Our adventure continues and evolves! This year, in 2020, we have decided to refocus our energies on our main breeding : the alpaca. As we wish to increase the quantity of products processed on the farm, mainly those of felt, we must think about restricting less productive activities. For some it comes naturally while for others it is a more difficult choice.<\/p>\n
For example, as our dog has reached a certain age, it was time to have her operated. We have made the decision to take full advantage of our two dogs and not to continue breeding this magnificent breed that is the English Shepherd.<\/p>\n
As for cashmere goats, it has been a few years since we made the decision to replace them with dairy goats. These produce milk that is richer and in greater quantity. We therefore only have two and that is more than enough for our personal consumption and to continue the production of our artisanal soaps.<\/p>\n
Regarding the standard rex rabbit, we will keep only one couple for the happiness of the children.<\/p>\n
Our nourishing forest remains a living project that will remain a source of personal recreation for the family.<\/p>\n
Another non-negligible point that helps us enormously, the children who are growing up! The youngest, the fourth, is now 3 years old and it is starting to be easier to free up time to work.
